Charles L. Deckard formed Deckard Manufacturing in 1929 fabricating oil field safety equipment. He had several patents on the equipment that he manufactured. One of the patents was the Deckard Casing Stabbing Board. Our stabbing board has been fabricated and sold world wide for over 80 years. During these years of experience it has evolved into one of the safest, most functional, economical, and easy to use and maintain products available. Deckard stabbing boards are used by every major drilling contractor in the industry. Our stabbing boards have been field tested for over eight decades in a multitude of different environments.
